His tenure as a series regular lasted for the first 11 seasons. This is a great competition for network television operators.
But he didn’t stay there forever.
Wiley took a step back in the mid-2000s. My schedule is too heavy. This character’s story needs a bit of a breather. This decision resulted in him missing two entire seasons. Fans had to wait for his return.
He returned for the final game. The fifteenth and final season aired in 2009. Wiley appeared in several episodes in the final season. This strategic return concludes his journey to the show.
So how many times has he appeared in total? Mathematics is concrete. He was a mainstay for 11 seasons. He then completed the final season with selected episodes. This trajectory made him the actor who appeared on **ER the most. He defined the era of telemedicine. Although the show is over, there are still traces of his character. It’s rare for a leading actor to retain such long screen time during such a long period of cultural change. The lights of the kingdom office went out. The file is closed.
